Garmin ECHOMAP Series

Garmin EchoMAP UHD2 is a line of chart plotters and fishfinders that combine GPS and sonar technology to give comprehensive underwater mapping and fishfinding capabilities, in addition to navigation and other functions. Garmin EchoMAP devices may also be used for a variety of other purposes.

What capabilities does the Garmin Echomap have?

It contains Quickdraw Contours mapping software that allows you to rapidly build personalised fishing maps on-screen with 1' contours as you fish. ECHOMAP Plus comes preloaded with BlueChart G3 charts that have integrated Navionics data and cover the coast of Australia.

The Garmin EchoMap UHD Combo provides an all-around picture of the area that you are fishing in by including Ultra High-Definition Sonar in addition to the more typical CHIRP sonar.

Traditional CHIRP sonar sends even more energy into the target than traditional sonar does, which is one of the reasons why it is able to produce astonishingly clear target separation and definition. 

Additionally, the Garmin EchoMap Plus and UHD Combo comes with built-in capability for high wide CHIRP sonar and DownVu scanning, both of which provide even more specific information on the region surrounding your boat.
