When I learned to repair and service boats I was always taught that when a boat was to be serviced the whole vessel had to be safe and sound. All the vessel systems were to be completely operational. The motor or motors are important but so is the complete operation of the boat.

Most importantly all safety gear needs to be fully operational. Marine radios, epirbs, life jackets, life rafts , navigational lights, anchor lights, and all anchoring systems are inspected. When boats are serviced by ourselves we inspect the whole vessel. While carrying out the boat service we take our time and will give you a complete list of our findings as if it was rolling out the factory floor,

If the boat is on a trailer, a full trailer inspection is also carried out.
